My version of Lemon-y Spaghetti.


hi lovely readers! how are you? blows blog, it looks dusty, teehee. okay, let me share wif you the recipe of this lemon-y spaghetti that i love soooo much. actually someone requested for it and i am more than happy to share it. *blushing! :)

My version of Lemon-y Spaghetti {for 1 person}

Ingredients

spaghetti

a little oil {olive/sunflower} or any oil that you use in your kitchen.

1 piece garlic {minced}

1 shallot {sliced}

½ onion {sliced}

1 - 2 pieces of fresh red chili/dried chili {quarter or you can cut it smaller if you prefer}

5 - 8 pieces of prawns

½ lemon

salt and pepper to taste

crispy popcorn chicken & a slice of lemon

How to?

first step : put spaghetti in a pot of water, cook till al dente, drain and set aside. keep a cup of the starchy water to use later.

second step : add in oil in a hot non-stick pan, add in garlic. stir. add in shallot. stir. add in onion and chili. stir till well combined.

third step : add in the prawns and let it cook nicely.

fourth step : add in the spaghetti, stir lightly. if it looks a little dry, put in some of the starchy water. if not, no need.

fifth step : squeeze in that lovely lemon! :) add salt + pepper to taste. i prefer white pepper. mix well.

sixth step : taste. for me, it must be rich wif lemon, zing from the garlic, and a little spicy from the chili and pepper, done!

seventh step : serve wif crispy popcorn chicken & a slice of lemon. best eaten when it's hot. bon appetite!

  1. okeh..very simple. bleh try neh.my lil boy suke sgt mkn spaghetti. tp sll bg kat dia spaghetti kosong je.tq for the recepi..:D
